Prof. Dr. Domenico Baldi is a distinguished specialist in prosthodontics, oral implantology, and piezo-surgery and a recognized scientific researcher at the University of Genoa, Italy. With a career strongly dedicated to scientific advancement, Prof. Baldi has published more than 70 specialized scientific papers in prestigious international journals. He is co-author of the volume “Handbook of Bioceramics and Biocomposites”, published by Springer International Publishing, and has been invited as a keynote speaker and lecturer at numerous high-profile international scientific conferences. Within the Department of Surgical and Integrated Diagnostic Sciences, Faculty of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Genoa, Prof. Baldi contributes to the discipline of Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases. In addition, he teaches in international master’s programs at the universities of Genoa and Pisa.
He serves on the editorial board of “QDT – Quintessence of Dental Technology” (Italian edition) and is an active member of several professional organizations of excellence, including: Italian Society for Implantology and Prosthodontics (SIOPI), International Piezo Surgery Academy (IPA) – founder and president (2014–2016), Romanian Dental and Maxillofacial Prosthetic Society – honorary member, European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), International College of Prosthodontists (ICP), International Academy for Digital Dental Medicine (IADDM) – board member (2019–2025). In recognition of his contributions, in both 2018 and 2025 he was awarded the title of Visiting Associate Professor at the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania.
